What we believe

  • We believe that the Bible is the inspired Word of God.
    (2 Tim. 3:15 -16;”Peter 1:21)
  • We believe in the unity of the One True and Living God, who has also revealed Himself as One existing in three Persons – Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
    (Deut. 6:4;Mark 12:29; Matt 28:19; 2 Cor. 3:14)
  • We believe in salvation through faith in Christ, who, died for our sins, was buried and was raised from the dead, and through His Blood we have redemption.
    (Titus 2:11, 3:5 - 7; Rom. 10:8 –15: 1 Cor. 15:3 – 4)
  • We believe in the baptism of water by full immersion for all who have truly repented.
    (Matt. 28:19; Acts 10:47 – 48; Acts 2:38 – 39)
  • We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit, evidence of which is speaking with other tongues as the Spirit gives utterance.
    (Acts 2:4, 10:44 – 46, 11:14 – 16, 19:6, Isa 8:18)
  • We believe in the operation of the gifts of the Holy Spirit in the Church today.
    (1 Cor. 12:4 – 11, 28; Eph. 4:7 – 16)
  • We believe in remembering Christ’s sacrifice through Breaking of Bread.
    (Luke 22:14 – 20; 1 Cor. 11:20 – 34)
  • We believe in the bodily resurrection of all of mankind, eternal bliss for all who truly believe in our Lord Jesus Christ and eternal punishment for all whose names are not written in the Book of Life.
    (Dan. 12:2 – 3; John 5:28 – 29; 1 Cor. 15:22 – 24; Matt. 25:46; 2 Thess. 1;9: Rev 20:10 – 15).

    God’s Promises Concerning Israel

  • Gen 12:1-3

    The Call of Abram
Then the LORD told Abram, "Leave your country, your relatives, and your father's house, and go to the land that I will show you. I will cause you to become the father of a great nation. I will bless you and make you famous, and I will make you a blessing to others. I will bless those who bless you and curse those who curse you. All the families of the earth will be blessed through you." NLT

  • Psalm 105:6-11

6 O children of Abraham, God's servant, O descendants of Jacob, God's chosen one.
7 He is the LORD our God. His rule is seen throughout the land.
8 He always stands by his covenant — the commitment he made to a thousand generations.
9 This is the covenant he made with Abraham and the oath he swore to Isaac.

10 He confirmed it to Jacob as a decree, to the people of Israel as a never-ending treaty:
11 "I will give you the land of Canaan as your special possession."
    NLT

    Israel and the Church

  • Romans 11 describes the Church as a ‘wild olive branch’ that is grafted in to the ‘natural branch’ of Israel. (See Romans 11 v 11 – 36)

  • Ephesians 2:15-18

By his death he ended the whole system of Jewish law that excluded the Gentiles. His purpose was to make peace between Jews and Gentiles by creating in himself one new person from the two groups.Together as one body, Christ reconciled both groups to God by means of his death, and our hostility toward each other was put to death.  He has brought this Good News of peace to you Gentiles who were far away from him, and to us Jews who were near.  Now all of us, both Jews and Gentiles, may come to the Father through the same Holy Spirit because of what Christ has done for us. NLT
