Prayer

”Be joyful always; pray continually; give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus.” (1 Thes 5:16-18)

We feel that we have been called to seek God's face and to pray. This is the Spiritual covering for what God is doing among us!

There are weekly prayer meetings, prayer walks around our community, Prayer Partners pledging to pray for one another, as well as Fusion a 24hr prayer event which we host. We also have small groups who pray throughout our services. Pray is the foundation of all that we do.
 
It was never anticipated that prayer should ever be dull. A prayerful environment is one full of joy and thanksgiving, laughter and praise. We hope this is what people experience here in Bethel.

God has laid this on the hearts of many people; there is a unity in this, a oneness that we have not experienced before.  We have a longing and a desire to get into Gods presence - GOD IS MOVING! Prayer starts things moving, prayer keeps us moving!

Every few months we have a 24 hour prayer event called FUSION at the church. There is a warm invitation extended to all churches and Christians. For more information about Fusion email fusion@bethelnewport.co.uk
We unite and pray, that God will move in power in our city of Newport, and that we will see His Glory, and that others will come to know Him.
