In both 2011 and 2015, we read the whole Bible together as a church. We followed a set Bible reading plan. To actually have all the church reading the Bible - and reading it together - was the primary goal.
We've created resources such as a Bible guide, bookmarks and monthly plans for you to follow if you want to download them for free*.
Not only will some be inspired to delve deeper and study into things they are reading, but the fact that people are reading the same chapters each day stimulates conversation over what’s being read - helping bring shared understanding and greater unity to the Body of Christ. It will bring us closer together!
There’s something special about knowing dozens of other people are reading the same chapters on the same day that you are.
I want God’s Word to find its way into more conversations, hearts, and lives.
A Facebook page has been set up for people to post their thoughts, encouragements and to discuss what we are reading. There is also bookmarks with the readings which will also serve as a reminder.
I hope that you are excited about this program and will join it with enthusiasm. As we focus on reading the Bible and letting its words dwell richly in us (Colossians 3:16), it will be ‘hidden in our hearts’ (Psalm 119:11).
I also invite others to join with us in the program. Even if you do not attend with us, we welcome your participation.
